A module for connecting Ajax security systems to third-party VHF transmitters. vhfBridge is a transponder that provides the hub with another communication channel with the monitoring console. With the vhfBridge module, the Ajax system can be used in cities with unstable internet, mountains, nature reserves or desert areas. vhfBridge allows system alarms and events to be transmitted over VHF radio waves over tens of kilometers. It can be used as a primary or backup communication channel.

Sophisticated autonomy
A backup battery up to 7 Ah is installed in the vhfBridge case, from which you can power the VHF transmitter with a consumption of up to 2 A. This allows you not to equip the transmitter with a battery and reduces the frequency of its maintenance. In the event of a loss of power at the facility, the transponder and transmitter operate from a backup battery for up to 75 hours2, continuing to transmit events to the monitoring console.

Uncompromising Communication Reliability
vhfBridge communicates with the hub using the encrypted Jeweler radio protocol. It guarantees uninterrupted interaction of all devices of the security system. The radio protocol uses frames to synchronize device communication sessions, authentication to prevent forgery, and encryption to protect against data theft.

Mounting without puzzles
Like other Ajax devices, vhfBridge connects to the hub in the app by reading a QR code. Perforated sections are provided in the transponder case for accurate wiring. Outputs are configured through Ajax applications for smartphones and computers.
